That's a lot to take in, so here's the run down...
That brings me to today...
I was born & raised in Long Island, NY. I started dancing at the age of 3 & moved on to competitive dancing at the age of 8. I continued dancing through college as a member of the University of Delaware Dance Team, where I became a 3x National Champion & also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance. Post college, I went on to become a Certified Public Account & then worked in finance for 10 years. Then, I finally decided that I needed to be a part of the fitness industry.
As a dancer, I spent most of my life trying to be the skinniest version of myself. I was introduced to the world of strength + conditioning as part of the dance team, but in the way it was introduced to me, I thought it would never be something I could find enjoyment in. After taking a year off after college, I was determined to get back into some sort of movement. I spent those same 10 years I spent in Finance experimenting and trying to reset my mindset. Now, I can finally say that I have been able to find MY balance & MY enjoyment in movement, in food & in life.
Coach Kait Fitness was born in 2021 with a mission to guide as many people as possible through their own unique health & fitness journey. I am here to help you navigate through all of the diet culture, fitness myth BS that we have been fed for so many years to find what TRULY works for you, your body & your mind. I am confident I have what it takes to reset your mindset around food & exercise, as well as overcome prior &/or current injuries that keep you from doing the activities you enjoy most in life.
around here, i like to keep it simple, but also challenging.
As humans, we have a tendency to overcomplicate pretty much everything. I've done that before, too. The most valuable less I've learned through my own journey is to keep things simple enough to achieve your goals, but challenging enough to push you out of your comfort zone.

Lover of happy hour + dancing with the girls or some quality wine time with the family.
